The well-known media platform, of course, Android Police has recently discovered that Gmail for Android has the feature “undo sending” in application versions 8.7 and higher. However, it may not yet be available on your phone: it appears that the tech giant Google also needs to enable it on its servers for the user.
Undo sending in Gmail for Android
It works like this: you type an email normally on your smartphone, and tap Send. The app asks “send this message?”, And you answer “OK”. This opens the inbox, and down there is a dark gray bar saying “Sent”. There is an Undo button in the lower right corner; simply touch it, and the sending will be canceled. After that simply you will be taken back to the interface to compose (and edit) the email. So, basically, this feature lets you correct all the errors present in the email, like maybe you missed an attachment, or made a misspelling – you can fix that now easily as we told. Gmail gives you five seconds to tap “Undo”, if you do nothing, the app simply sends the email. The tech giant Google help says you can change the time to undo sending on Android: “Open Settings and next to undo sending, touch and change the undo period.” However, I did not find this option on my phone. Yes, the tech giant Google already had the ability to undo sending emails on Android, except that it was restricted to Inbox. Gmail for iOS, as we said, was contemplated in 2016. The tech giant Google’s well-known email client Gmail for Android just asked the question “send this message?”. It’s very easy to tap “OK” and then notice that you needed to make a final adjustment in the email, so I see the “undo” as something new. So, what do you think about this?
