FIFA 23 Live Tuning Update for October 4, 2022
For those dreading a massive overhaul one week into FIFA 23’s life, don’t worry —that’s not at all what’s going on here. Instead, players can expect little changes with regards to technical dribbling, penalty kicks, and referee decisions. You can view the official tweet below. To be clear, this is not a title update. As mentioned in their notes, these tuning updates allow them to make changes like these fairly frequently. Oftentimes, they’re after a particular balance. For now, here is what we can expect:
Accuracy of Penalty Kicks reduced when the Composure Ring is red or yellow.Technical Dribbling animation speed increased for lower-rated dribblers.Impacts players with dribbling-related Attributes below 90.Referees less likely to call for fouls for arm-related collisions.Referees more likely to award yellow cards for fouls committed via hard slide tackles.
